Hello and welcome to Canes Across the Pond

This is my little corner of the internet as a Miami Hurricanes fan living in the UK. Following The U from across the pond is not the easiest thing in the world. Kick-offs often start well past midnight, streams can be dodgy, and explaining college football to your mates usually ends with blank looks. But for me, that is all part of the fun.

Here you will find a mix of Hurricanes content from a UK perspective. Match previews and recaps, guides for new fans, a look back at Miami’s history and rivalries, and plenty of light-hearted posts about what it’s like staying up until 4am with a mug of Yorkshire Tea and a packet of biscuits.
