Personally, I think the new camo uniforms look fantastic and are a bold tribute with a real sense of meaning. Over here in the UK, we don’t tend to see much around military appreciation in sport, so it’s great to see the Hurricanes putting that front and centre.
It’s also a clever nod to the Canes’ past, from those 1987 fatigues to today’s modern camo, this program has always known how to blend attitude with symbolism.
My only concern is how the kit might look on TV from an accessibility point of view, the camouflage design could make it difficult for some viewers to follow the action clearly. Hopefully the contrast works well under the lights at Hard Rock.
